Upward Bound | |
The Trio Upward Bound program offered through DBC gives eligible students a chance to achieve their dreams of going to college and succeeding in life. The program helps them fulfill educational and career aspirations by providing a variety of services designed to meet the individual needs of each student.
Each year, Upward Bound serves 50 ninth through eleventh grade high school students from designated Volusia County schools. The applicants must meet family income requirements and be first generation college bound students to be considered for the program. Students who apply must also demonstrate a desire and ability to succeed in high school and graduate from college. |
