Season Outlook |
The 2007-08 Falcon Basketball Season is going to be a rebuilding year. The foundation is much better with returning All Conference players, Richard Sirju, DeAundre Cranston, and Dennis James, being the cornerstones to the rebuilding process. Another important player is Forrest Davis who not only played out of position, but has provided quality minutes for a team with growing pains. These players are expected to be leaders in the classroom as well as on the court.
Joining the Falcons this year are local talents Walt Torrence from Atlantic Mid South High School player of the year and teammate Antonio Tarver, a tough defensive player. Other local talents include Brandon Caputo and Jake Blakenship from New Smyrna Beach High School. Nate Shewell will add help in the front court with All Conference forward DeAundre Cranston. A couple of high flying guards will be spreading their wings for the Falcons this year. Chris Lowery a leaper from New York and Deonta Stocks from Lithonia, GA will be shaking things up in the Falcon backcourt. John Williams will round out the 2007-08 Falcon roster.
